Yeah my search on Takealot didnt produce much, their search functionality is really dodge sometimes, but I found a few Ill try. Just found it odd that its not very available in store..

In addition maybe if you don't know and if you do for the sake of the thread... I highly recommend switching to the "Ian Knot". This one is bullet proof and NEVER comes lose (maybe on an ultra but for most runs it is very solid):
 
Ran out later than normal today when its a lot warmer and struggled to keep heart rate low even though there was minimal exertion and breathing was easy.
Something to look into.

Doing something similar. At least 6-8k of low HR shuffling and then give it a bit of gas last km or 2 so not to worried about dedicated interval sessions.

Lol hey we’re all human. Last week my body battery was on 6 when I woke up after a night of the heavy stuff. Whisky goes down too nice at times.
 
My HR seems to be dropping steadily this past month, tomorrow will be a good test because it will be my first flat run in a while. I also need to try a marathon pace run and see where it fluctuates, hopefully in low zone 3 at most.
 
Turns out my elevated HR was due to the garmin having some issues before it corrected.
14k + 2k push.
Think it's better to do 3x1k as a topping instead.

Typical, only "puny human" size shoes in stock and then when there happens to be one where they do have a larger size, it's 2 sizes too big :crying:... 1 size bigger than my daily wear would have been fine, but 2 is too much.

Go and check in store as well. My experience of sales is that usually it's the 'puny human' sizes that go first while the larger ones are left over. So if you need a 11 or 12, you may be in luck.
