With winter set in and late sunrise and freezing morning I have shifted my weekend runs to mid morning and long runs to immediately after breakfast with baby at 7am, I eat at 6am so I dont have any issues for the run.
Set out for a 21km - 25km dep on how I felt, I felt great and decided to push for 25km, all went well till last 750m where I got a muscle twinge and walked the rest of the way, got home and was pressed for time due to slightly bad planning and quickly had to do a nappy change and baby feed and then only got chance to cool down, BIG MISTAKE I got to foam rolling and my legs literally locked up couldnt stand and had to hobble and "die" on the bed thankfully my wife just got home and I managed to do a few streches that eased the pain, all gone now and I did fuel properly but didnt take my "booster - protein and carb rich milkshake" I have a massive blister on the side of my foot will need to figure that out in the future. Overall happy with the time especially considering this was a 25km pram run. 2 milestones, longest pram run and longest run ever.
Have a great weekend all!
