It's weird. I've done 21.2 km so I know I'm capable of doing it. It's just for some reason after I had ear infection issues the long runs seem daunting. There's no rational reason why it should be.15k is my favorite distance, it's the distance before everything starts to suck. I always start looking at my watch at 18km and fatigue sets in.
Don't stress we all do, then you start training, upping the distance and you get through it. Before you know it you can cruise through 30km.
Oh, no! Hope you get better soon. You better take care of yourself as there's nobody else who can lead me into shoe temptation.Had a 22km long run planned yesterday.
Only managed to do 18km. Collapsed when I got home and was hospitalized shortly after. Could not lift my head for most of the day yesterday. Had a terrible burning sensation accross my whole body. Should have stopped when I felt that I weren't able to push sub 4:00m kilometers.
Hopefully will be discharged today
Did they figure out the cause? Heatstroke?
