Definitely room for a longer stride / stride improvement. My stride length used to measure at 1.94 back in the day when I ran 10k competitively.Don't think there is more length left in my stride.

WhatsDang just realised I can see mine on Garmin Connect. It's no wonder I'm a crap runner![]()
Whats
your GC ( ground contact time left & right) and vertical oscillation like?
Go to the Connect Web and to a specific activity.
Under stats it should show something like this if your device is capable.

Don't worry. Nobody else does either. It's the bounciness of your hops and how far forward you fall while falling.Mine is a 45 so only the first three stats. Not that I would have been able to make sense of the rest

You should upgrade your watch then test it over a distance of 21.1kmNow you've made me curious. SO has a 55. Will see if that shows it and use that for a run or two
Won't mean much to me but hey it's another stat![]()
Yeah mine too. Took it for a 16km spin this morning just cruising along at a easy pace. I love it. It feels like I could potentially do some tempo workouts in these shoes aswell.Woot! ForeverRun Nitro 2s have arrived.
Just got back from taking mine for a spin. 8km Base run at 6:00. Felt good. Think it still needs some breaking in, but so far happy with them. Took it up to 3:32 and felt very good at the faster pace.Yeah mine too. Took it for a 16km spin this morning just cruising along at a easy pace. I love it. I've run in mine on Wednesday,Thursday and again this morning. Not gonna lie, I think it's my favorite shoe right now, especially after four high mileage weeks. Initial thoughts:
Roomier than the Velocity
More cushioned than the Velocity
Definitely feel the stability in the heel counter
More cushioning in the mid foot
Less slappy than the V1 ForeverRun
Will need to get used to the lacing system and upper.
Upper felt quite rigid with the ridges over the toebox
Tongue is less padded than the MagMax, with the lacing system of the FrR2 I would have liked a bit more padding.
I've done 2 sessions in mine. Did a threshold yesterday and at 05:20 it felt good. Really liking the extra bit of width the FRR2 offers and the stability is doing me good. Had a slight ache in my knee, but that's because of getting used to the cushioning of the MagMax for an entire week.I've run in mine on Wednesday,Thursday and again this morning. I can already feel it softening up after 70km's
P.S. Puma has a 25% discount today, but the funny thing is, the FLASH30 code still works too!
