What position you gunning for?PB 5k for the year. Needed to get the frustration out of the way of another "successful" interview that yielded no offer.

Eyeballing the weather hope the rain starts after the run not sure if thats going to happen otherwise I might just do slower run in the rain tomorrow. If the weather behaves aiming for another 21km this weekend. Trying to get one in a month.

Gauteng side so it's rarely very light rain. Planing on being on the road by 515am with my headlampNot sure what area you plan on running in tomorrow, but it seems the best time to get out will be before 9am. I'm doing a run from Constantia Nek up to the dams and back down from 7am, so hope I get a gap.
That being said, I don't mind the rain, as long as there isn't a driving wind behind it.
Interesting run... Cut it short once I feel wetness in my shoes I call it.Gauteng side so it's rarely very light rain. Planing on being on the road by 515am with my headlamp

Nice!!!Interesting run... Cut it short once I feel wetness in my shoes I call it.
I set out early just after the rain cleared and got caught in a massive thunderstorm around 7/8km and decided to motor on home.
A bit of a bummer as I was even up at 3am eating my nutella, banana and peanut butter sandwichWould have likely been a sub 2 hour 21km too, but anyway till next time.

Market is flooded af.

Have a 21km to make up for this weekend. Decided to try make the diy maltodextrine and fructose gels. Going with 80g worth of carbs flavored with lime juice this stuff is freaking delicious. Will feedback after the run as to how it went down.Interesting run... Cut it short once I feel wetness in my shoes I call it.
