Honor partners with world record holding marathon runner Sebastian Sawe

Today Honor has announced that it's partnering up with Kenyan marathon runner Sebastian Sawe, who currently holds the world record in marathon by going under two hours (1:59:30 to be exact). Sawe will be Honor's newest brand ambassador.

Honor refers to him as its "Global Chief Running Partner". Maybe that should be "Global Chief Human Running Partner", though, seeing as how the company's D1 humanoid robot has recently broken the human half-marathon record?

I've lost a bit of weight recently, and it's like something clicked. Since the beginning of April, every parkrun I've done has been a sub-30, and the last few weeks I've even hit a couple in the sub-29 range that I haven't hit since August 2018, when I was running 10 or 21k races every second week. This past Saturday was 28:51, I was 28th (out of 500), and 1st in my age category (not often I manage that).
Lekker! Well done!!!

To run or not to run today is the question  Watch says rest
Similar. Watch says 35min base (I've paused my Runna plans) but my knee still feels iffy.

Pain in the middle of my knee at the back when I stretch it

That doesn't sound pleasant.
yeah wasn't clear enough. Pain at the back of my knee, right in the middle (where the fold is)... not deep in my knee. Still, not ideal and I don't want to make it worse.

Sometimes when I get aches I test it with a run and see if it gets worse (Not saying you should). Sometimes its nothing

Apparently a good test is to jump up and down on a single leg then alternate. If you can do that without any issues/pain you should be good for a run.

The rain is sabotaging my running. Had over 28mm last night and it's been pouring on and off throughout the day. Waiting to see what happens this afternoon.
