Bullsh1t. You can only have one playmaker in the team calling the shots. Two is asking for trouble, unless they are identical twins and telepaths to boot.

Milan's system of using k a k a and pirlo worked well for a while. Barca's using both xavi and iniesta also works.

ka.ka forward, pirlo back. xavi and iniesta have been playing together for so long, that is understandable - also, the entire Barca team plays in a way that accommodates 5 highly attacking players - not every club can have a system like that - particularly not in Italy.

Both are playmakers. Pirlo plays as the deep laying playmaker and k a k a as the trequesta playmaker. Still they use two playmakers. So it can be done its just that not all teams like it since it means you need a very good destroyer else you get exposed defensively.

First two signings is done. Not happy with acquafresca being part of the deal. Will wait to see whether its giving away 100% of him or if its a coownership. If its coownership its ok.

We also apparently signed arnautovic from fc twente. Haven't seen him play, all I know is some dutch experts call him the new zlatan but then they called slavkoski the new zlatan and he totally failed at inter.

Genoa president Enrico Preziosi has announced that Inter have signed star duo Diego Milito and Thiago Motta, in exchange for cash plus Robert Acquafresca.

The owner has also revealed that the Rossoblu have replaced Milito by purchasing Atalanta's Sergio Floccari.

Inter have been chasing Milito and Motta for some time now, and although the exact financial terms have not been disclosed, Preziosi has confirmed that the transfer is complete.

"I met [Inter] President Massimo Moratti for breakfast, and we have reached an agreement," Preziosi revealed while a guest on the programme 'We are Genoa' on TeleNord.

"It is official. It was a painful decision, and we thank the players for everything they have given this year.

"What do we get in return? It is economic and technical, but I say only the name of [Robert] Acquafresca."

It is not clear yet whether Acquafresca will join Genoa permanently, or on a co-ownership arrangement. One player who will arrive in full is Atalanta sensation Sergio Floccari, who will be Milito's direct replacement.

"He is no longer a boy, and he is going to give us so much joy," Preziosi said of Floccari's purchase.

"We have been following him since February. To have a strong Genoa we must suffer more than others, this is why we did this exchange.

"If we sell a great player, it is not right to just put the money in our pockets."

Floccari is expected to cost €11 million. Meanwhile, Milito is believed to have signed a four-year contract at Inter worth €3.5m per annum, and Motta a five-year deal worth €3m a season.

Lavezzi to Liverpool

La Gazzetta dello Sport has reported that Liverpool’s mega bid for Napoli’s striker Ezequiel Lavezzi has been rejected.
Liverpool is interested in signing the future Argentine star to complete their dream striker formation. Lavezzi, also nicknamed the ‘New Maradona‘, was signed by Napoli in the summer of 2007, when he signed a five year-deal.

Napoli’s president De Laurentiis has rejected Liverpool’s bid of around twenty million euro’s, but he is not excluding the fact that the clubs will meet in the next few days and that a deal might be agreed.

It seems unlikely Napoli will be able to keep Ezequiel Lavezzi, since several English clubs have already gave him an indication that he could sign a contract for four million euro’s a year

Damn rafa get this boytjie in A.S.A.P :D

Just like Alonso and Gerrard. Masch is the destroyer.

Ronaldo to be at United next season:cool:

Ronaldo rejects Real talk

Cristiano Ronaldo has insisted he does not care what happens at Real Madrid and is thinking only about Manchester United.

Real were heavily linked with the Portuguese winger throughout last summer but United held firm and refused to sell.

The Premier League champions remain adamant that Ronaldo will not be going anywhere but his future has once again become a hot topic of speculation.

Florentino Perez is expected to make signing Ronaldo one of his top priorities if he wins the upcoming presidential election at Madrid.

However, Ronaldo has dismissed such transfer talk and stressed that he is focused on staying at United next season.

"At the moment I'm only thinking about the (Champions League) final independently of what will happen to me or my team-mates next season," he told Atena 3.

"I'm sure Perez would create an incredible team at Madrid but at the moment I'm at United and I don't care about what happens there.

"I only care about what will happen next season at Manchester United."

Yeah - but can you see Diego/Giovinco moving back? They will basically be using the same space - which is never good. What I have a problem with is using the same type of player in a similar position. Anyway - what was the point of your post since I had already stated that Pirlo played back and K.aka forward?

My point was they are both playmakers while I got the feeling your point was there is only one playmaker. Sorry if I misunderstood.

Giovinco could be employed as a wider forward player so they don't have to play the exact same role.
