That's not really an answer to my question a out MIUI specifically but I see where you are going.I was seriously considering a Xiaomi device.
It just seems like a gamble long term.
I have watched many reviews and everything seems like a half arsed attempt.
They make too many devices, diluting their brand & neglect customer experience.
Their phones either overheat, have too many bugs, are updated with further bugs or have hardware issues e.g proximity sensors.
A Samsung is far from perfect but it just works out of the box.
OneUI is reliable and ram management is decent.
Buying a Xiaomi requires you to do more research & use custom roms etc.
The out of the box experience from Xiaomi is lacking.
They need to outsource software to a company that needs money i.e HTC or something.
That hasn't been my experience with any of the many Xiaomi phones and other devices I've had over the years. Also, so far so good with my current Note 10 Pro.
