I just can't wrap my head around it R900 for like 20 hours of gameplay.
Modern gaming baffles me, maybe when the game is under R400 I will consider it.
I see it's part of the Xbox Game Pass, so will try it out on the Xbox first. If I like it, then I'll get it on PC

Surely it will share across Game Pass to PC?
Since it’s a Microsoft owned game.

Is it 20 hours only though? The Borderland 3 reviews stated 30 hours game play, and I can comfortably say they got it horrendously wrong.
Buying these games outright is not the main goal.
It was always destined for the subscription service which is the way it will all work in a few years.
Even at R900 it’s still cheaper than going to the movies at a per hour entertainment ratio.
Yes its on Xbox Game Pass for PC which is $1 for your first month, pre-loading it now.
Didn't even know this was a thing will set it up tonight.
The reviewers pegged it at ~25hrs.
I really don't get the hatred for Epic.
Main story maybe but reviewers have deadlines and aren't able to complete every sidequest.

For Outer Worlds? I think with BL3 the critics get a reviewers code sent to them - maybe it was shortened or something, coz I have spent way over 30 hours and not finished.
How long is The Outer Worlds?
The Outer Worlds can be completed in around 15 hours if you ignore its many optional quests and stick to the main story. You'll be missing out on a lot of interesting stuff if you do this, but it's still entirely possible.
If you want to see everything that The Outer Worlds has to offer, you're looking at around 30 hours of playtime or more. Maybe around 40 hours if you really take your time.
