Wife is happy with the 1600AF and 16GB RAM upgrade, POE runs a lot better now. Now I've got a case, power supply and a intel 4430 with 12gb.

Let me know when you decide to sell the old system

Well it would need to put together :-) as I ran don't have any m2 screws to put the motherboard into the case, also it would be a discrete network card and a USB sound card, cause the onboards don't work :-(

PM me a price.

Argh the fan screws that come with raidmax fans really suck stripped 3 just trying to mount a fan into the CM690 as it didn't have an exhaust fan, two of the ones holding the fan in are also stripped but at least they held. Going to take herculean strength to remove them.
So be warned when buying RGB Raidmax fans, the screws are horrible, all 4 I've bought only 2 out of 16 were any good.

Like you said, it's high for a 18 month old chip
Yeah it is high for an 18m old chip, I'd expect it to be R100 maybe R200 more than the 1600AF, as in the US you can get them for $115 to $120 according to tech channels. But than again the 1600AF is supposed to be an $85 chip and yet we're paying 140.

And that is why the 1600AF is such great value against the 2600 over there in the states, but yeah companies love fleecing us here
