The same goes for all the other couriers and suppliers I guess. I also just ordered a graphics card, motherboard and Nvme from PCLink but they're not answering their emails. Hope I get it before Friday because I'm looking forward to building over the weekend.

They nevered answered mails even before lockdown, they also never update orders. I normally have to wait for an email from the courier, as an update on my order. They normally use fast way couriers.
I only use them when I really have to.
How does courier companies get the stuff between main centres next day considering there isn't any domestic flights anymore.
I specifically chose Dawn Wing Next Business Day because I'm in a Main Centre and Wootware is in a main Centre too I believe

Wootware is in Sommerset West.How does courier companies get the stuff between main centres next day considering there isn't any domestic flights anymore.

Well then they should advertise it as 1 business day then.

Most main centers are a few hours drive from JHB, and CPT and can be reached overnight. There ends up being a problem tho when it hits a main center, then has to be sorted, and re- routed ...
It takes extra time.

Anybody had a evetech order shipped yet?
Was there at 9am when the opened there was a queue again. When I finally got in around 35min or 40min later at 9:40am the phone just did not want to stop ringing. Like that annoying MC Donalds sound if the food is late that non stop beep that was the phone lines that rang non stop for the 10min I was inside. Not sure but they had less staff. 3 for walk in sales. 3 for phone orders. and the rest are accounts on the right hand side and at the back for dispatch was hectic. I saw couriers coming and going at the back.
Think I should have rather asked if Evetech can do a price match and just got it from them instead.

Well DawnWing is not answering their phones and my Parcel is still in CPT at Booked In Cape Town CBD. No benefit of paying extra for overnight express.....

Hopefully you are running normal hours, then they will likely get to you. We running reduced hours as a result of lock down, and they cannot read the notices to that effect on the doors. Probably just stop - see doors closed, and drive off. Bugger the notices on the door. They where put there as decorations, to reduce the incoming light or maybe some other unfathomable reason.
No they do not answer their telephones, nor do they respond to e-mails, not does their Twitter account help much. They are not only in isolation, they are incommunicado.
Well I'm sitting at home not working. We can only work on level 3 so the company just sent me a sms saying stay at home until further notice. We eagerly await the announcement of level 3 to resume work. UIF applications will be submitted again on the employees behalf.......

Just e-mailed Wootware and past on delivery instructions, which will hopefully be given to Dawn Wing, who will hopefully follow such instructions.

The tracking on Dawn Wing's website doesn't work. My last parcel was delivered and they still showed on the floor in CPT.

I checked mine and went from CPT to WRD... don't know where that is... perhaps Welkom? But that was from ordering on Monday. Hopefully be here by tomorrow or Friday...
