Help me out here.... if you're downloading a game via the Epic Games launcher, and you cancel it half way... ( Shut down your computer or close the client ), when you resume downloading, does it start from the beginning again?
I did that with Subnautica. Was like 66% done. I closed the Epic Games launcher thingy, and when I resumed my download it started from 1% again.
( Apologies for the kinda off topic post here ).
Now THAT is good news. Thank you for the reply.I also saw that, but it looks like it resets the % counter to measure whats left of the download. The download as a whole doesn't restart.
Personally, I'm happy to see some competition for Steam, as they were the kings of the market for ages.
EA games are a bad example because they are the biggest money grabbing company in the video game industry. All of their games basically have micro-transactions.Lol EA games has more equity then the Valve, and steam still kicks origin in the face. Steam has a 15 year odd head start with an average of 9 to 10 million odd online concurrent users.Hell the amount peak online users for CS:GO and DOTA likely beats the entire origin platform and epic games combined. EA games did manage at one point 1.3 million users.
Competition ? Hell no, EA games also gave away and still gives away popular games and that still didn't even remotely assist them.
I am curious are they waiting for steam to die of old age ?
