Oh I was really joking about those bands. I'm waaay too snobby to call that punk.To answer your other question, I've not really moved on from late 70s early 80s stuff, but I tend to like a new band every few years. Green Day were great early doors but I kind of stopped after Dookie. They did sound like Stiff Little Fingers initially but then just got a bit samey and too "MTV" I guess. The Offspring I don't really know except a cover of smash it Up they did which was decent.

Absolute banger. The first band I ever saw live, and I’ll be in Glasgow 2 weeks today to see them with the Sex Pistols, Stranglers, Buzzcocks, Undertones, and the Rezillos. Absolutely gagging for it![]()

I’m sitting in a pub in central Glasgow listening to drunk people trying karaoke. It’s not good but the beer is cheap. Anyway, a great day at the punk all day festival which finished a couple of hours ago. It was a dream come true seeing the Pistols. They were fantastic but the day goes to the Skids imo. But now I need a lie down, getting too old for this schit
