The RC Car hobby thread

And at the end of month is the South African National Drift championships at EDC in Edenvale. So pop in if you're in the area that weekend. Entrance is free for spectators... some of the best drifters in the world will be there to compete...

So is anyone else going to go this weekend?
Have never been to one of these, tempted to go check it out.

(I secretly hope it sucks so I won't be tempted to spend more money on toys)

The guys drifting the electric cars....you guys are awesome.

I'm just into driving my 1.6cc and 2.5cc engines

EDIT : Actually should clean up and show off my 4x4 that I changes in a Ford Focus complete with lights

Hi Guys. I need some help/suggestions please.

I bought 3 brushed HSP Brontosaurus. 1 for me and 1 for each kid.
My motor fried and I upgraded to a brushless setup (will post pics as soon as it is 100% completed, still waiting for some upgrade parts to arrive).
Mine rocks but the kid's cars suck.

Thus I will be upgrading them to brushless as well.

Now here is the help/suggestion (idea I have)
I will be sitting with 2x brushed motors. I can get a Dual 860 ESC which can control both motors at the same time.

I want to build a dual motor Bronto.
If I need to build a custom chassis that would not be a problem or modify existing.
I would like to mainly use available bronto parts (as I have a bunch of extra parts now)

Now what I need help with is how to mount the dual motor and what parts would be required.
