Yep. Rennie's Australia was hard-edged. Brought that massive Koroibete tackle on Mapimpi. They had a ruggedness about them that they have been lacking since.

I think NZ made a good choice in appointing him. Australia were well improving and had a bunch of narrow losses at the end against, unfortunately, Italy, Ireland, and France. They could have easily won all of those.
 
The Scotland vs France game is not that unexpected. A slight surprise. I did not expect Italy to beat England though. Not that they didn't look capable, just that I expected England to have a bit of a backlash of some sort.
 
Luckily Italy is in our RWC group. Unfortunately I think they are our first game. Second to last pool game would have been ideal.

I'd be very surprised if the citing commissioner doesn't pull this incident up.

If it was Oscar du Toit, it would have been red and 8 week ban.

Let's wait and see..
