Firstly, the CC final. Sharks were better if you look at the onfield stats. They managed their game better and that kick at the end in foul weather - they deserved to win.
But Lions, wtf? You lead on the scoreboard and time is up. You win possession in the lineout. What to do next? Kick the ball out right? Noooo, we're gonna show you how macho we are are by mauling you into submission. Oops, we lose possession and the Sharks win. Brainless. Nee man!!!!!

Then the Bokke. Up 17-0 after almost 20 min. Debatable yellow card but the Argies cash in. And they cash in big.
Where did it go wrong? Many things -:
- Some players being passengers in this team. Yes, I am looking at you Salmaan and Manie.
- Some players out of form? Marx - could not find his jumpers with a cane and a guide-dog. Also, no steals from the opposition as we know he can.
- Piss poor defense.
- Poor lineouts - this is becoming a regular problem.
- Stupid basic errors - Kicking out on the full, knock-ons at crucial times, poor discipline, giving away soft penalties.
- Tonyball maybe not really suiting us?
- Too many aimless kicks.
But I also have to give the Pumas credit. They came at us hard and in the end they deserved the win - they scored more tries and if they didn't miss some kicks, could have won even further.
Valid points, mostly. Our lineouts weren't bad. 1 lineout Ruan fumbled and Ox knocked it. 1 lineout was a genuine over throw. Moerat wasn't lifted high enough, or the timing was out. And another lineout Arg lock got in front of Eben and poached the ball, that's no one's fault. That's good play Arg. Eben returned the compliment when Arg were hot on attack deep inside our 22, might have been a lineout on the 5 metre line. I must rewatch the test but our lineout woes are being grossly exaggerated.

Yeah, we lost ball in contact, we knocked a few on, we turned over possession a couple of times when we were hot on attack. Scrum free kick from an attacking scrum just outside (or was it inside) Arg half.

As we learnt in the RWC, when you win by 1 you 20 moments away from losing/wiinning by 1, you 2 or 3 knock on's away from losing/winning by 1, you 1 penalty away from losing/winning by 1, 1 scrum free kick away form losing/winning by 1, you 2 or 3 lost lineouts away from losing/winning by 1.

It really is a game of fine margins, clichéd but true.

Argentina were brilliant for a period of 10-15 minutes were they scored some scintillating tries. After that the game got tight and the 2nd half we won 6-3, 1 point short of making up the first half deficit.

It is what it is. I really expect to roll them in Nelspruit.

And I feel we need to persist with Tonyball. We were unplayable for the first 10 minutes of that test match. Tonyball effects our structure on attack. It shouldn't impact our structure on defense.

And everyone was having a go at me for saying we should play our best team. And now are down to a must win game to win the Championship with Arg flying.

Rassie is prepared to gamble for the sake of building squad depth. In Rassie we trust... We were 1 point away from winning after making 10 changes. He's miscalculated by the smallest of margins... I forgive him...

If we lose this Championship we are going to look like real idiots.

Do anyone really think we going to loose to Arg here with a top team? Will be an easy game. The loss was more bad for a possible long winning streak in the making.
