John is not waiting for next year and already started being Presidential. What a man.

Looks like he has successfully convinced them, Vavi President Moonshot Vavi! John Vuli Gate!

He won't be president, next year. I think ANC/EFF coalition will win the day.

So generally a horrid story, and I feel for NMB residents who have to suffer through this chaos (be it sabotage or just pure incompetence)

The end of the article does show something very interesting and intelligent. Load shedding a business for 24 hours once a week, rather than 2 or 4 hours each day of the week.

The eThekwini metro officials have proposed to hire the state-of-the-art Pencil Club venue at the cost of up to R16 000 for a day, excluding refreshments, on an ad-hoc basis for "strategic meetings"
16k will look like peanuts once the refreshments come out.

I thought the Zulu king always supported the ANC.
The fluidity of KZN Zulu voters that I always talk about, it looks good for such a voter if The Prince of Phindangene and the King appear on good terms and united, it's one big family.

They start getting confused when there are tensions between the King and the Prince, that's what happened back in the early days when the Prince was still a homeland leader and picked fights with the King, because Mandela was a genius he fooled the Prince with a position in government, paid the King a good salary while the double headed one was busy working his magic with the masses on the ground.

When the Prince woke up the rug has already been pulled from under his feet. The newly found friendship and active elder status the Prince has been playing made the Zulus feel good, coupled to that the fall of Zuma and his subsequent arrest left the ANC very exposed.

If the Prince in his arrogance messes this up it's going to be a problem for the IFP, and since the IFP refuses to have it's own identity the Prince is going to drag the whole thing down with him.

Probably sabotage, seeing that the Moonshot NMB gov is moving in on the cadre networks in the muni...

If the Prince had any sense he would have stepped away ages ago and handed the baton to someone else

It's going to be a schitfest for them when he kicks the bucket

Have they said it may be sabotage or are you just preemptively making excuses for them?
They suspect sabotage,
Odendaal said they strongly suspect sabotage as only a small section of cable was removed at a strategic place.

I do as well... Too convenient for the substations to get wrecked, while the Electricity Department is being investigated for corruption.

Have I accidentally imploded your studio on this fine afternoon?

When ANC are in control, there are no angry mobs. Then when the DA have a go, then you get angry mobs.
Factually wrong. ANC supporters riot against the ANC all the time and burn schools and clinics and shít.
