Well, it's quite obvious he is conservative or a right-leaning liberal. Supports the Tory's in the UK as well AFAIK.
Pretended to be Brit citizen and then turned out to be SA expat living in australia when he was called out. Interesting chap.

You mean right-wingers would lie ?

In any case, he can't be supporting Tory's now that Rishi is in-charge. BoJo was all good though.

Ah, the @TheChamp's sidekick comes in with his usual incoherent sarcasm. Tell me, I have a British passport, so I am a British citizen. Oops. You're not as half clever as you think you are.

Its an interesting one... people were promised something by a politician but didn't get exactly what they were promised once reality and project costings and all that actually came into play.

As for the shoddy construction, it does look as if the city is doing something about it :
Selby Bokaba, Tshwane Municipality spokesperson, said the city's taking court action against the original contractor for shoddy work and performance.

You have to wonder why it takes the community complaining on handover before they'll take action. Also so the mayors mansion was sold for 5.1m which is what was used to build these house. And that works out to about 120k per house all in if the entire 5.1m went toward the project (assuming no taxes etc deducted).

100% a lack of effective oversight on the project would be my initial assumption.

These are things that unfortunately take time to get right, and that is not a free pass for the DA. They need to get better and fast in my opinion.

hmm.. I wonder if recipients of RDP houses sold them to these landlords and now complaining ?
Isaac Kgosana, a community member of Extension 19, said the programme was infiltrated by criminal elements as many of the houses belonged to landlords who were renting them out.

The mind boggles at the outward stupidity at times...

I think its very clearly evident that he is totally bought by the Putin side of the equation, possibly even more so than the ANC.
I don’t think he knows what the word means.

While Defence and Military Veterans Minister Thandi Modise reiterated that "f***l" was loaded onto the Russian ship, Lady R, when it was docked in Simon's Town in December, the ANC insists the "cargo manifest" should remain classified.
If there's nothing wrong, why do you want to keep the manifest secret/classified? Surely, you wouldn't have anything to hide?
