F*** your context, innocents died.

indiscriminately maiming and killing civilians with the aim of bringing about political change is the dictionary definition of terrorism

it makes no difference that the apartheid government happened to agree with the dictionary definition and it makes no difference that the cause was righteous, it was still terrorism, plain and simple

I'm glad you see it that way.... What of all innocent people of colour who were detained indefinitely, tortured and murdered upon only suspicion as wells as those murdered for simply protesting?

That too falls within your dictionary definition of terrorism. Your government were terrorists too.

They were an oppressive regime, but yes could be classed as terrorists as well in the broadest sense.

But no, not "our government".. that is a stupid fscking attempt at narrative spinning.

When people jump to claims of your government.

Read a bit further back, I said the same thing. Two wrongs do not make it right.

This is a post for @RonSwanson to add to.

no, the dictionary and almost every country that has a law on terrorism see it that way

no it doesn't, governments can do despicable things, wage war, commit warcrimes, commit genocide even, but seeing as they are officially the government they tend to not do those things to topple themselves/bring about political change, which does not fit the terrorism definition

it's basically the same as when a corrupt government collects taxes, sometimes by force, it is not called stealing

curiously you call them: "your government"? who was your government then during those years?

Yet it is such that only one is branded as being terrorist. Come now...

I used "your government" because people are trying to defend it or at the very least trying to sweep actions which led to said bombings/acts under the rug. That's the only spinning going on here.
