I don't know. Not sure what margin of error there is on projections. If it's 2% - then yeah ANC could slip into 30s - but I think projections might only be 1% margin of error.

Zille is the real deal - probably the best living politician we have. She just needs to tone down a bit but I am sure she has her reasons.

I only hope Pappas comes up through the ranks though. That man is more sincere than John in my opinion.

I'm not going through her endless tweets and RTs to find things.

But it's beyond just social media. She brought back the negative campaigning, knowing how spectacularly it flopped in 2009 with the whole "Don't vote for Zuma" thing. Yes she may have been proven right, and we all knew it to be true at the time, but that's not what it takes to win votes in this country. Voters want positive campaigning, and what you can offer them, which is what worked for the DA's 2014 campaign...

Yeah that's my point... as it stands... they're >40%... but once the metro votes start to come in... and we know they're not popular there... they could slip into the 30s overall.

Champy was trying to mock most of the times but literally every DA member's comment against him is deeply personal and bordering on hate at times. I think he provides a kind of release valve. :cool:
 
DA is currently on 55.3% on Provincial in WC. 53% on National.

I don't think anyone expected ANC to get sucker punched in the rural areas as they did...
