It can only be declared the best scapegoat if it does work but I think most people have long been bored about it.
It does work tho... While other people have been annoyed/bored with it for a loooong time...

Seems like it but they have the best scapegoat in SA...white people...

As I said to @ToxicBunny, I have a strong feeling ASA will throw EFF out of third place in 2024.
So yeah, fun times ahead.
lol..there are only a couple of million left...Best they start looking for new excuses..Or are we that powerful....

Khoza is salty AF:
It is becoming increasingly apparent that ActionSA is a black-face led DA, with whites running its back office.
ActionSA cares more about protecting white privilege than the pursuit of an all-inclusive agenda.
@TheChamp Exhibit B, of the best scapegoat ever...

Well at least her true colours shine through quite brightly.

ActionSA clearly have done well to jettison her from their ranks.

In a leaked e-mail that was sent to all members of the DA caucus in the City of Cape Town, Gqada expressed outrage at Anstey's apparent racist conduct last week after he told her to go back to the Eastern Cape because her “food is there”.

Gqada said Anstey made the racial slur after she enquired whether it was lunch time when she noticed other colleagues “going down to the dining hall”.
The "joke" makes no sense. Can someone explain it to me please?

Wow the snowflakery is immense.

Yes his statement is fscking offsides and clearly meant to upset her, but racist... come now, he was being a monumental arsehole and should be disciplined for that.. not some bollocks racism claim.

Was it meant to be an "Eastern Cape refugee" meme cause maybe she's from EC (IDK honestly)? I can get that it's ****ed up either way and the DA should discipline him for it.

But does it count as racism? In what way? Did he say something else along with it?

Exactly that. It's not racist but it's really a joke in poor taste. Maybe the joker is a MyBb member and thought it's acceptable to use that joke outside the confines of this forum.

The problem (for me at least) is that the cry of racism actually dilutes the issue..

He was a fscking arse of the highest order, but her screaming racism from the top of the roof makes it questionable whether the DA should actively continue the association going forward.

Ok, glad we agree then.

But once again, something like this (which is still a shite situation) will be blown out of proportion as mega-racism and as another "DA racist"/"all white people racist" pogrom...

This. As I said somewhere in another thread in N&CA, a story in SA doesn't sell/get attention if it doesn't have a racial slant...

We honestly don't know what was in his mind when he thought of the joke, I feel that it's open to multiple interpretations but jumping wholeheartedly to racism wasn't a good idea.

We all know that the troublesome refugees making the life of the DA hard in the Western Cape are not white people who move there from the Eastern Cape so the racism angle might not be apparent from the guy's utterances but I can see how it could be interpreted as such.

I agree though, once the racism accusations starts it would be difficult to look at the matter from any other angle and coming back from there is very difficult if indeed it was a harmless joke.

Again - we need a law in SA that prohibits someone from crying 'race' wolf too often. Falsely claiming someone is a racist should carry as much weight as falsely accusing someone of rape.

I don't think there's a specific sentence for false accusations of rape, don't they all fall under perjury?

But I do agree with the sentiment in principle.

Technically (legally) speaking you could take the 'human dignity' path regarding falsely accusing someone of rape but I was thinking more alongside the societal impact of crying wolf when it comes to rape etc.

This as well, we don't know what the guy's intention was, maybe it was a weird inside joke to himself/his friends? We don't know, but the default path has been taken of screaming "racism".

And I want to connect that default path to Khoza leaving ASA (who happen to contain minorities) and promote this type of rationale while doing it. The moment she left, what is her excuse/reason for leaving regardless of her behaviour, reputation, not getting her way or whatever? Either basically "racism" or "thE wHitES" and then their "belief" in non-racialism goes out the window to use the best scapegoat ever.

Yup, I agree.

How THE **** can it take 115 YEARS TO TAR LIMPOPO'S ROADS? HOW? I'm trying to understand here, but it makes zero sense

“Rough estimates show that the Road Agency of Limpopo (RAL) needs a total of R138-billion to upgrade all gravel roads in the province … At the current funding level for road upgrades, it will take approximately 115 years to clear the current backlog.”
