Sorry, that it's a paywalled article. But I think the Constitution will become the contention point between RET and Rama towards the end of the year. I wonder if we'll see constitutional reforms...

If they are reforms like suggested in the "new republic" article from earlier on in the thread (most likely Rama faction's proposed reforms, since Lamola had input), then I could support them, but if they are like Zikalala and Sisulu want them to be, then I shall oppose.

You'd back them only because of who is cosigning it?

No. I'd back the proposals regardless.

From what we've seen the RET wants the judiciary muzzled and all power vested in Parliament and to make Parliament above the constitution in effect (parliamentary democracy, or well "democracy" probably after a while under RET rule).

I would be for the "new republic" reforms if they were to become a reality, those proposals devolve power from the President to Parliament (would involve having a Prime Minister, with support of Parliament, ruling the country instead of a president alone basically) also removing the mostly useless position of Deputy President, in the article (if it's real anyway, it's IOL) it said Lamola gave inputs, he's Rama faction.

I was just mentioning the factions, I didn't say I would back the "new republic" reforms just because of Rama, lol.

If you remove the Rama reference I made:

All of a sudden the Fighters "care" about the law.
FTFY

Lol, the EFF are true masters of the flip-flop.
The one day they go to interrogate business owners about the foreigners they employ, the other they protest the watered-down pogroms like Dudula...

How do they even have 10% of the national vote? Don't their voters at least notice the blatant flip-flopping once in a while?

Their voters are mostly young, mob mentality and being rebellious is fashionable. As soon as they grow up and see the light there are always others to replace them.

I am proud of Nhlanhla Lux for creating a home for people who are literally so stupid that they even make the EFF look smart.
