Another article brought to you by Gareth the DA shill and John's praise singer. He writes opinion pieces I assume this growth is his unbiased opinion.
I just shared the tweet, my guy... I wish more of these opinion pieces weren't actually paywalled so that we could read the pieces for ourselves...

I am sure he wasn't blaming you for sharing the tweet but just giving an opinion on the author.

And I am commenting on the post not you personally. This should be obvious, my guy.

It's fine... She going to cry when the UF shows her flames...
And this motion of no confidence against her finds COPE still investigating her conduct, I also wonder what mandate they are going to give her on the motion, for or against the motion?

Two by-elections today: one in Prince Albert and another in uMhlathuze.

DA and IFP are on the offensive in their respective areas.

It is possible that the DA can win in PA. If they do, they will win Prince Albert for the UF and will be able to govern outright.

In uMhlathuze, it is going to be a dogfight between IFP and ANC. If the IFP can cut down ANC vote share at the least, it will be great. Even better if they win the ward (since if they do, an IFP/DA/ACDP/VF+ coalition will be able to govern if they aren't already).

Would be hilarious if they tell her to vote for it...

Nice article. John (and the DA) seem to have a very clear vision for the next 18 months and what is at stake.

I think, the ANC would need to be at 45% for us to not have an ANC-led coalition government. That might be a stretch too far, sadly.
I feel it's possible if NDZ wins. If she wins, it's because she bought more votes, and Cyril has Phala Phala problems. ANC voters won't like NDZ (wicked witch of lockdown) so hopefully ANC will get even less support in '24 elections.

The ANC would probably rule even at 40%. You forget that the DA have a "vow" not to work with the EFF and the EFF have said they'd work with the ANC to keep Steenhuizen out of the president's seat. Suppose there is also the chance the ANC refuse to work with the EFF but I think the ANC will be able to form government without the EFF if they get over 40%. The opposition need the EFF to form government.

Both sides should refuse to work with ExtremeFlipFloppers for the sake of their sanity. I doubt they will even get into double digits in '24.

The EFF will work with whoever will give them the power and access to purse strings... So yeah they'll likely side with the ANC, but if they think the DA is a viable option they will happily switch sides regardless of what Julius says.
