Depends who brings the biggest pot of money to bribe delegates with.
So far from my memory, GP, EC, LM and MP support Rama for President. 51% of the delegates will then support Rama. We're assured KZN won't support so we negate them.
So Rama is safe for his second ANC term. But it seems it's gonna be a hot fight for DP and other positions.
I wonder why they are saying nothing about the SG? Reserving it for the EC perhaps?

Probably not. Although it's not like he really needs corporate SA (or any other part of SA) to woo the ANC electorate/provincial leaders for the conference.I doubt the Messiah is going to get as much support from corporate SA now. He might have to break out the dollar notes stuffed in the sofa bed if he wants a chance.

And, defiantly, Makhubele believes that, when the council reconvenes later in September, the vote will go the way of the minority parties as she's been receiving messages of support from both ActionSA and DA councillors.
After the signal briefly breaks [Makhubele was experiencing load shedding at the time of the interview], she says:
"The surprising thing is that we are not even lobbying anyone; we are being approached. I'm shocked the number of councillors that are sending messages supporting for what we're doing."
She's been captured alright.Makhubele spoke to James de Villiers about how she felt bullied by the current coalition, why she would be willing to become mayor, and why a return of ANC governance does not necessarily mean a return of corruption.
The idiot Carltjie Nohouse's take:
