Ok? But my question is if they started the party, why didn't they leave the ANC and go to COPE (COPE would still be a competitor today if they had that leadership)?
It makes no sense to stay with the ANC then if they created COPE?

IMO sounds like more ramblings from RET to act as cover for themselves.

Not holding it against Steenhuisen for going, it was his right and above board (unlike ANC illegal jaunt to Zimbabwe at tax payers expense) but the DA also do not speak for all SA.
Sure, sure. But he makes good points in the vid.
Like how this war is ****ing with us too although we're not physically in Europe, how the Ukrainians are completely confused at our gov's response to the war seeing that the Ukrainians supported them during the old regime.

And last but not least the question that should be posed to Rama is (paraphrased): "If SA was in a war, similar to Ukraine's, wouldn't we too want the support of the global community?"

I also like the idea of having a multiparty Parly delegation go to Ukraine and go see what John has seen there.

Well, with all the accusations he threw at Mabuyane's camp he would be very cheeky to want to stay on, he resorted to dirty tactics instead of fighting a clean fight, good riddance.
Well, he was RET aligned I think, so...

The usual tactics then...

I wonder if Mphithi has decided to join ActionSA?
Didn't he say that he just resigned as Youth leader but not from the party? Just that he'll focus on his Soweto constituency?

Not the same as Baloyi who left the party entirely before defecting?
Maybe they have developed a strategy of naming one person every few months to try paint the DA as a party in disarray instead of all of them joining at once.
Dunno.
