But you can’t dismiss their plight because there might be Xenophobic attacks. Their complaints are the same as Afriforum complaining about Cuban doctors and engineers. It just happens that they are focusing on entry level jobs. Maybe instead of fearing the possible consequences from the movement, people must actually address the issue.
No their complaints are different...

Afriforum complains that government actively brings in Cubans when we have the skills in the country to do the job.

This lot just hate on foreigners, even the legal ones.

Difference being Afriforum wont kick off with violence...which is where this will be heading...
That can easily be prevented by addressing the concerns instead of suppressing them. When has suppression of griviances ever worked ? If people find something to be wrong, they will find different ways of bringing it up until the matter is finally discussed. Suppressing it is just postponing it for tomorrow.

But so far there is nothing to suggest that this particular operation is violent. They have been there for close to 2 years now.

The comparison is about protecting job market for South Africans. The question is if we can allow people to come and work entry level jobs, why are we stopping at entry level jobs? Why not allow everyone. I’m sure there are some programmers, engineers, doctors, scientists etc from somewhere who can do your job for 1/5 of your salary and equally good. Should we allow them in to compete with you? Same applies to businesses.

There is a reason why countries sign trade agreements. To avoid influx of certain goods. Just like when people were complaining about America dumbing chickens here and it’s impact on local farmers.

The same concerns apply to every sector of the economy not just the ones you can clearly associate with.

Odd.

PA leader Gayton McKenzie said it was “a great honour” for his party to be serving alongside the coalition partners and its leaders.
We went to the extent to say we [can] even work with the AWB [Afrikaner Weerstandsbeweging] if we have to
Now that's what I call edge...

To be fair, the AWB historically has shown extreme willingness to help further racial freedom for all races because it furthers their own goals.

What a clever guy. Hedging his bets in case CIC, JohnS, Buthelezi or Peter Marais becomes president.

Gonna check with my leader Marais as he categorically said no donations from BMC. There must be some technical glitch somewhere.

The latest report shows that African Rainbow Minerals and Harmony Gold were among the most generous companies, paying millions of rand to the ANC, DA, EFF, IFP and even the Freedom Front Plus.

Genius, no wonder he has so much money.
