The shards in normal instances

Guys i noticed i am getting shards from normal bosses in WOTLK.
Since i am resto i dont really quest its dungeon after dungeon.
1.Were do i go to spend this?
2.How good is the gear you can get from it?

The shards I know so far can be traded for a Mamoth mount once you have 350 of them. So for the time being that is what I'm saving up for. Don't care what else you can buy with it :D

I hit 77 Last night and have to admit, you def. need flying to appreciate the great detail blizzard went into with WoTLK. I'm still thinking about Storm Peaks I flew into last night :eek:

Your stupid friend bugged me because he couldn't get his WoTLK installation working.... He kept on crying about an .exe and WoTLK downgrading his game client. I thought your slow but he takes the cake tbh :p

Glad to have you back, 3 more levels for me then I can level my Pala :D

That suck i hope it for gear not just a stupid mamoth thats 3 times the size of my kodo why the hell would i want that?
 
You get shards from bosses while your Faction holds Wintergrasp.
So getting a Mammoth mount for free (or for the work the rest of your faction is doing) is not too bad :p
 
Hmmm...same reason I want one...my puny Belf on a huge mammoth :D Pure awesomeness :p
 
And I thought Boom said he will not play WOTLK till next year ;)
 
It's a bit of a white elephant (pun intended) tbh. ;) But a free mount to help me get closer to my black bear.
 
These shards are much like the Spirit Shards of Auch in TBC. Where you can buy meta gems, designs and pvp gems.

Talking about the black bear :)

There are plenty of guys on our server with these. So they started another random raid to SW and the likes. I joined and these fk'rs didn't raid from IF /tram/SW king.....

No they tried to charge via the gate :rolleyes:

None the less, it caused an Epic fail and I'll give it a go again when another raid is formed :) Plenty of Horde on our server with these Black War bears and I want one :D Not going to pay 800g for a stupid brown bear
 
And the alt-gear from it is pretty mean aswell for extra XP gains <3
