aw now i feel bad . sorry guys.

yeah im on android with the HTC Hero. I really don't want to say to much coz it might dissapoint some of you guys that are stuck with the X1 for remainder of a contract period.
All i can say is.... eish eish eish. there is just absolutely no comparison between wm and android. what an OS. when you guys can make the move i really think you should.

there is NOT A SINGLE BUG anywhere and its so fast its stupid

So whats new and good out there for us mere X1 mortals guys?
The sms bugs with Itje's Leo 7.1 are getting to me now.
 
I am downloading the latest firestorm now. I am not so happy with Itje's anymore, tried using the radio this morning and told me unknown error when i tried loading the radio app.

Anything else you guys have tried?
 
I've also decided to go back to FireStorm. Will DL tonight. Zero, mind letting us know which version you taking and how you finding it?

i downloaded x1_firestorm_v4.5.502LEO-2 cant say to much about yet as never had much time to play around

Seems the same as the other firestorms at the moment but must still sort out my setting etc.

Seems smooth and fast but as i say i neem to play some more

Tell you guys tomorrow

I just downloaded x1_firestorm_v4.5.502LEO-2. Will install now and see...

I was very happy with 4.4 and then went to 4.5.81LEO but was unhappy with this one. Seems to be very slow opening SMS messages and closing it again.

Hopefully it is sorted out on .502
 
hey guys

So far rather smooth no real issues to mention just yet i must admit but you know there tend to pop up when you sometimes need to do something specific. I did have a problem copy pasting something last night but could have been just me.

I did have one problem but I am not sure it its software connected though i think its more hardware.

When i tried using my phone as modem is to surf the net on my laptop when i tried connecting my phone kept saying check USB connection. It use to be quite simple in the past though i have used it in this manner in a while.

Any ideas anyone?
 
I installed 4.5.502TR yesterday, and I'm happy so far. Very fast, stable and smooth from what I can tell. I'll be steering clear from LEO Roms for a while.
 
Did both last night

Weird thing is that when i connect the phone to the laptop to copy thing on or take off etc its works fine, connect straight away.

I dont have a problem charging the phone either so i am kinda stumped
 
You mean set up to use my phone in as WIFI router?

Na havent tried that yet
 
Stupid question Zero, But I do assume you have either Active sync or mobile device centre installed and configured? I believe this is need for yor pc to recognize your phone as a modem
 
I have active snyc but maybe i need to resync my phone to my laptop.
 
Yes, I have had this problem in the past and have always found it to be activesync/mobile device centre related.

My latest download is;
Touch-IT Xperience v16_Build21055_wm6.1

reluctant to install... dread having to setup my phone again :( wish there was an upgrade option on ROMs as the is when installing win7 over vista etc
 
Yeah I tried to activesync my phone with the laptop again last night but not luck does want to sync up.

I am wondering if the problem is not 6.5 cause i remember when i was using TouchX which if not mistaken is WM6.1 i never had a problem.....I stand under correction though.

Did you manage to solve the problem with the activesync Tsponge?

You guys that are using the same ROM as me how are you guys finding it??
I did notice that the battery life is not soo good but gonna monitor it again using the phone as normal and not playing about to much

Talking about playing anyone know where one can some good games for the X1, i am not a gamer but nice to have to pass the time when need be.
