Thanks, I'm unlucky or stupid (you pick) but I'm not as unlucky as Piesang. Still love the X1 even in it's fuqued state. hehe:D Can't do much with it but it really holds down the papers on my desk well.
 
The N96 and X1 are both very cool phones.

Only difference is that the N96 works the way it should out of the box. The X1 must be tweaked before it works. If you can get it to work.

Respect is what I lost for the Xperia.

The N96 has got all my respect.;)

You know just as good as I do that you can't go on that figures. You get that figures when you leave the phone on standby with using the minimum resources. Or, mmmmm, NOT!!!!

640 hours = 26 days. LMAO. If you are dumb enough to believe then I see no point in argueing with you anymore.;)

My Nokia E90 uses a 1500mah battery and it stays on for about 8 days without using it at all.

My N96 gives me 1 day with heavy usage with the Standard battery and 2 - 3 days with the 1200mah battery.
 
I think Ill pass my N96 on t my dad and hell get me an N97 when it comes out, drool for that phone, il stick to my N82 for now

Piesang When the X1 is in sleep mode (pushing the power button briefly) it uses 3mAh with the phone function still on. so to work out how long it would last you do the following

1500mAh divided by 3mAh = 500hours
so thats roughtly 20 days !!!!and that with the phone function still on

BTw i recorded the power drainage using one of those "free" programs developed for WINmo called homescreen plus plus


so there is just another thing the x1 has over nokia....:D

sounds like you have nokai in your blood stream!! N97 does look awesome but i dont think it can compare to the tweakabilityv(not sure if that is even a word) of a Winmobile device!!

Just my 2 cents dont really want to provoke any phone wars here, think we can have a seperate thread for that:D

Yep, I dont think it would compare to the tweakablity but I don't care lol that phone looks perfect to me, and yes bro Nokia is in my blood since SE became k*k to me after the legendary K750i (rest in peace). Im thinking about geting the E71 now becuase I cant wait months for a N97
 
The E71 will be more than i good replacement for now until the n97 comes.. i reckon it will be a while till that happens. that phone is cool only problem i just find nokia phones to boring, maybe with the new symbian software in the future you will be able to tweak the phones more but for now gonna stick to the X1 in all its glory:p
 
Shame man, Piesang we understand that you have to keep boasting about your N96 to make you feel a bit better. After all you are over your 7 days now with the N96 and can't change it for the more superior X1. At least you can still read the threads and see the absolute delight the X1 gives us! :-)
 
I installed v4.1.2 and the nuerom file

It messed up my power settings and my phone kept going off after plugged out. Uninstalled it

I wonder if they could make a SE logo instead of the HTC logo for the start menu
I'll probably try doing that myself as well
