rodga i see you answered your own question with regards to fixing BT

I have installed most of the Cab files to fix, edit and add functions

With regards to net dissappearing kvi, what is grayed out? the E and 3G logos at the top of the screen or in the comm manager?

then rodga, I notice mine also sometimes does that with regards to the panel manager, not sure what the reason is for this

dalmine007 - you need the ruu.exe below

ftp://x1:[email protected]/XperiaX1/TOOLs/X1_RUU_ROM_UpdateUtility.zip

then paste the .nbh file into the same folder as the Romupdateulitity.exe file. Here is how you name it;
Rename Image file to;

RUU_signed.nbh - If installing via ROMUpdateUtility.exe
Kovsimg.nbh - If installing via MicroSD card

using the 6.1 great rom cant understand why sony did'nt go the route, also guys does this rom include a radio update cause my signal is better and call quality is better dono maybe it's just a placebo effect lol:)
 
that rom belongs to HTC which is why SE dont or cant use it
 
its taking me since december last year to get my phone looking and working this great. LOVING IT
 
Guys tried out the following and all seems to be working fine

Normal call (better quality then before)
Video call
HSDPA
Wifi
Bluetooth (working out of box)
SMS
MMS (setup automatically but also saw they have a setup client like the nokia setting wizard)
GPS tomtom
Weather

Dono bout u guys but initially when I got my x1 seemed like a laptop but basic phone functions seemed lacking now it seems we got best of both worlds

Yes sir touchX the reason I am saying this is before with the standard rom at times I could'nt even answer calls, I would press the send key furiously and just end up looking at missing the call even after offical update from SE still same problem. Now problem seems to be resolved (just pray it does'nt come back)

Sounds like it'll be worth it. Is it a permanent change? Difficult to do?

I've never done the flash thing yet.
 
i am still using 6.0...


But got some bad news. :( my X1 is at the doctor...

baldBoy - the change is not permanent and everything can be changed to factory default for warranty purposes.

it is easy to do and fool proof.

read the link to the tutorial I posted and shout if you need anything bud
 
ok i got my X1 back!

it looking awesome!!

what happened was my charger fried, shell cracked, KB problems...

took it to SSSCellular and they fixed it under warrenty!!

best part is my X1 used to be silver....Now it BLACK backside and silver front!!
looking awesome!! will post pics if you guys want?

anyway gonna upgrade to 6.1 soon!

now just to find the new stuff...
 
hmmm seems smoother.... dunno my mind probably poked.
battery increments now in single percents
