Ok lets me just start this from the the beginning the way understand it to flash my drive.

1 Copy my new rom onto memory card and rename.
2 HardSpl my phone ( have no idea how)
3 Then boot into the bootloader screen and the new rom will install from there

Now just a quick question when you hardspl your phone what happens??
Guessing it wipes your phone clean but then can you reboot your phone or can you only reboot your phone to the bootloader screen??

Sorry guys me hells confused now

I would SERIOUSLY recommend that you read the wiki on XDA, and read the ROM and HSPL thread very carefully.

HardSPL (HSPL) changes your boot-loader, which alows you to flash non-stock ROM's, Flashing is quite easy to do, and isn't as dangerous as it seems... but there is a danger, so you need to follow the steps closely.

agreed. dont attempt this stuff until you have thoroughly read and reread and understand this process.

but once you understand what and why you do each step then all is good
 
guru, there are 3 versions of SPB out. obviously version 3 is best, which version did you get from the SE site?
 
Donno if u guys will agree with me, I tried the lot SPB, PointUI etc but touch X rules and the best part it is free

Me again :-) Just wondering when you flash to say Touch X or any cooked rom are u still able to install Garmin Gps??

Ok managed to flash and installed touch x 612b I think but anyways its impressive I must say much better than sonys one. anys a few quick questions
1 Installation went ok but the only thing I was not able to do was hard reset holding both actions buttons and then press the restart but it does not go the grey hard reset screen... any ideas
2. I see with this new rom there is a app called g sensor just wondering if it works tried calibrating but it doesn't do anything just says calibrating and does nothing.
3. Easy one now how do I use my interent connection on my phone and use it on my pc? Use my phone as a modem basically.

Thanks again guys for all the help and links to tutorials etc. One suggestion to anyone new to wm phones and wants to flash their phone download the video tutorials from xda very useful?

Is SPB 3 beta stable? I had SPB 3 installed on my X1 and the phone used to freeze when pressing the panel key, does anyone with the SPB 3 beta version have the same problem?
 
sorry sameer...

no idea on spb3 stability, i used it for a week or so (dont remember any trouble) but have instead now found much happiness in touchx
