The Sony X1 Tips/Tricks/Apps thread

wow im loving this rom more and more. for me still no crashes or anything dodgy. im now running in touchflo mode (so it looks similar to touchX but with better icons and it seems a total rework of all menus etc.)

on touch x it seemed a bit strange how long it took or sometimes didnt take to download facebook profile pics to the contact list. this version did it FAST.

im even happier with this than the touchX rom.

now to patiently wait for my loyal followers to put this on their phones, then at least i wont be talking to myself hehehehehe

still waiting on your reply buddy ,does win 6.5 install with valk 1.95 and is it finger friendly :)
 
yes valk IS a wm6.5 install. The "OS" is built into the ROM.

it is definately more finger friendly, however i still use fingerboard as my onscreen typing app.
 
just flashed it ,and its def faster than touch x :D and def much more options ,will play around in the next couple of days to check if there are any issues

i love the touchFLO side, coz then i can setup shortcuts to contacts etc.... i still havent worked out how to create shortcuts if i DONT use touchFLO. eg if im only in the wm6.5 side.... there surely has got to be a way

but awesome that you think its fast

yep most def faster :D ,i also think the win 6.5 side is cool but still needs figuring out :o

im also using fingerkeyboard wich seems to somehow work much better with Valk than with touch x :confused:
 
guru are you using the little fix on fingerboard to move the keys away from edge of screen?
 
fyi i successfully rolled back a Flash and HardSPL the other day for a friend who was sending his phone back for warranty screen repair.

all went well
