Tried that as well.

No luck, update utility says it will update then, once it goes to the grey screen, it's gets stuck on 0 %.
 
Post your problem on XDA someone will help you out hopefully..much more ppl and help available there

whos using valkyrie 2.6??
the new 6.5 is great esp the add ons, but i just cant seem to get used to it with all the lagging and small bugs, i cant even connect to the net, the settings were there automatically with touch x but now it asks for all the settings, cant sen or recieve mms either, hopefully itll all get sorted soon...
but im seriously thinking of goin back to touch x
anyone else getting irratated with valkyrie??

ps. i see smaberg has a new rom out- no screen grabs as of yet [when i check ed this afternoon]

I rolled back from 2.6 to 2.5 for same reasons. I will wait when there is a more stable and working version that sorts out the bugs in 2.6.

I finally took the plunge to go custom rom and installed Valkyrie 2.6 as it seems the guys here were raving about it. But I found too many bugs to my liking. I cannot even get my voicemail number programmed for the speeddial. I am seriuosly thinking about going back to stock.

What other roms do you guys suggest I try?
 
well im gonna go back to 2.5, since i downloaded but never really used it yet
 
hi guys im struggling with Valk 2.6 ,i cant seem to access my contacts easily i have to scroll through the whole contact list to get to a certain contact :(

seem to have a problem with sending sms (inserting of a contact) :(

can anyone please help :confused:
 
WM 6.5

Hi there, I know this is probably off topic. Does anyone know if there is a stock WM6.5 ROM available. I had Valkyrie v2.5 XPERIO on my phone loved it, but the speed, and bug issues between a stock ROM and a custom ROM is irritating. Would love to get a stock WM6.5 or one that doesn't slow the phone down to much.

there is a bare WM6.5 backbone available on xda developers.
but remember thats an early build... nowhere near the microsoft final release so probably very buggy. using the rom has the advantage that some bugger somehere ironed out some of the issues and made it more palatable...

yeah there is a bug with the contact list, my workaround was ... open the onscreen keyboard then close it, and then suddenly the alphabet shortcut appears.
im downloading the new 2.7 which has massive fixes, hopefully that is fixed.

Tsponge.... havnt gone back to Itjes stuff in ages, not going to, purely coz there is more releases and constant work been done on firestorm.
is Itjes even the new TF3D that appeared in firestorm 2.6

I know firestorm will get stronger again, its just new bugs with the new TF3D

2.7 is back to the good ol stable previous tf3d setup. woot.

but now with added blue highlights (remember the old touchX blue?)

so far so good, i report if i see anything weird
 
Hi, can anyone help me with the COM settings for the GPS. The GPS program port is 4. The GPS hardware port is 0 if I change it to any number it just changes it back to 0. I'm running the stock R3AA010 ROM.
 
why would you want or need to change that? it just works the way it is?
