So I got this game a few days ago and everytime I move the mouse it stutters and audio also stutters.

Ive turned my game to all of the lowest settings (except resolution) but that didnt help, I see in my OSD it goes from 200FPS and when the stutter occurs I get about 140 for a millisecond and then it goes back to 200. But I seem to notice that it only stutters when there is a rather quick movement of the mouse.

This is a cracked copy and I would just like to know if this happens in the Steam copy as well, because I would really like to buy this game.

Running 340.52 Nvidia driver.

Thanks.

Yes I did. What's your point? You still pirated a game.

I am not an idiot ok, if you expect me to buy something without testing it out first that is just plain stupid, look at Sims 4, half the game isnt there. You expect to test drive a car before you buy it arnt you?

Is that the correct title? Only thing I can find on Google is "Stanley Parable". There are plenty of forums talking about the stuttering. Can't access steam forum from work, don't know if one of those threads can help you?

He is frustrated with the Stanley Parable not running.

Misfit - you're in the wrong place to argue this sort of thing.

Exactly.
On a broadband forum where everyone pirates videos, series, movies, games, etc.

Go home Misfit, no one cares.

And fyi, before you decide to slam my statements, I have well over 70 games on Steam as well as a whack more non-steam games.
I am a musician as well, I pirated all my software years ago.
Now I own every piece of software I ever pirated.
Pros and cons buddy.

AMA SLAM DAT STATEMENT SO HARD YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT SON

I'm just saying, if you want help for a game that you pirated then don't expect too many people to help you out, even if you claim you will buy it. There are more ways to find out if a game is good or not other than pirating it to see if it is worth your money. I'm sorry but that excuse doesn't hold up.

Tomorrow I'll go to a restaurant and eat food out of the kitchen, then refuse to pay for it because I had the right to know if it was good or not.

Can someone be superior for paying for their games instead of pirating it?

Buddy pls

I pay for everything, that does not mean I never pirated.
Are you honestly telling me you've never watched series, movies, played a pirated game?
Really?
If you say you haven't then I know you're lying.

Nope, acting superior about stuff like this is pointless.

If you took a couple of bites from that food and you genuinely didnt enjoy it, you have every right not to pay for it.

In the past I have, I am not hiding that. It's easy when you are younger to fall into the trap of doing something because it's easy, even if it isn't right (not just lawfully, but morally).

Still don't see why that suddenly makes it ok to pirate stuff, even if the person calling you out did so in the past. This is not a case of "Let the one without sin cast the first stone," as no one is without sin (in this case pirating).

And pirating "The Stanley Parable" when there is a demo, one of the best demos, available AND the actual game isn't even that long, meaning that once you exhaust the content in a day you suddenly have no reason to buy it? Come on man, you can't tell me that that is right. You can't honestly tell me that this sort of behaviour, for any game, can be justified in any way.

I'm not saying it's ok.
You just won't see me giving ppl grief over pirated games.

Music software I'm a bit more critical of due to the fact that monies are to be made.

So I should help him out even though I know he didn't pay for the game? The developers also have money to make. Why is it any different for you paying for music software to make money? What if someone stole your music and made money of of it then asked someone else on a forum how to make samples of specific instruments out of your music and he promises to buy the track if someone helps him?

I'd see that as a win to be quite honest.
If your music is pirated it's a sign of success imo.

Asking if you should help him out is also a weird question.
Do you know the answer and you're deliberately with holding it to reinforce your stance?

Just give the man the answer and make a new thread for the relevance of pirating.

I will buy the fking game should there be no stuttering issue in the retail version, thats what im trying to figure out. I dont want to find a fix for my pirated copy.

No, I don't have the answer since I don't own a pirated copy. It could just as easily be an issue with his machine and not the pirated copy, there is no way for me to know.
