What is the bet they will be called liars and people will want evidence, don't stress keep it a secret and attack whoever you say shot the rockets, don't worry about stuff like evidence and proof, that is so last decade.

Well the US don't know how to keep their secrets secret for some reason, they are as bad at it as our government are at hiding corruption.
 
Seems to me more like a test to me, gives them good info as to how accurate and how quickly they can be detected.

No bush had a plan, he went and spoke to the correct people, followed the correct channels. Even though his plans were guided by lies and BS at least as you mention he did what he said and acted accordingly. He had respect for congress and he had a plan, his plans were not limited to lobbing some rockets at someone.

They didn't care about the aftermath. Remove saddad, get oil back into petrodollars. Mission accomplished. that is what they did, at the earliest possible moment iraq was back to the petrodollar.

Plan, making sure you have the approval of people who may stay loyal to you when you show respect. Job done, attack went well. Saddam fell fast. Job done. Act like you are trying to get stability in the country knowing the removal of saddam would lead to violence and the country would be wrecked.

Ensure oil production was safe. Get american companies in to oversee the the projects, oops the government they put in power didn't give americans anything. Damn o well let's leave this shyte hole that we created.

Russia sends spy ship as US prepares for possible Syria strike

Russia is sending a reconnaissance ship to the eastern Mediterranean as the US prepares for a possible military strike in Syria, it was reported on Monday.
The Priazovye left Russia's naval base in the Ukrainian Black Sea port of Sevastopol late on Sunday on a mission "to gather current information in the area of the escalating conflict", said an unidentified military source quoted by the Interfax news agency. The defence ministry declined to comment.

Russia is one of Assad's biggest arms suppliers and has a naval maintenance facility in the Syrian port of Tartous. Moscow opposes any military intervention in Syria and has shielded Damascus from pressure at the UN security council.

Interfax said the Priazovye would be operating separately from a navy unit permanently stationed in the Mediterranean in a deployment that the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, said is needed to protect national security interests.

The defence ministry said last week that new warships would be sent to the Mediterranean to replace others in a long-planned rotation of ships based there.

So alnusra moving into lebanon and then israel doesn't worry you at all grant, you think removing assad and replacing with the likes of al nusra is good for the region? it is a nightmare scenario that the US is blatantly ignoring along with the other countries. I have yet to read the report i will do so tonight.

I have never denied assad is the culprit i have said there is no proof to back up the claim and only the rebels benefited from those horrific pictures. Assad was winning the war why would he throw a winning position away in such an idiotic way. Apart from that would you rather have assad in power or let al nusra slaughter everyone, move into lebanon and then israel/iran?

See putin has a bigger picture in mind, yes he is looking out for his countries interests similar to the US who have a base in one bahrain, one of the worst dictatorships. So let's call that equal.

I want someone to put forward this: Why remove assad when al nusra are so extreme and hate practically everyone and will do practically anything to anyone without hesitation? So assad falls, al nusra take control. Now what? what is the plan? you think alnusra will form a government and get syria back on track? No they will slaughter every christian and anyone else who opposes them, from syria off to lebanon, iran and israel are all under threat. Believe me just because jordan is helping them along with turkey does not mean for one second alnusra are loyal to those countries and they have already attacked turkey and tried to carry out a chemical attack using sarin gas. Fact: google it.

Supporting these kind of extremists is ridiculous and i cannot believe no one is thinking post assad except putin and the assad government along with china. If there is an intervention it needs an iraq invasion and boots on the ground ensuring al nusra are dealt with as well.

So please tell me the plan post assad and how you guys see it playing out. Let's say no boots on the ground just a strike that allows alnusra to overthrow him.

Only saw it this morning haven't had time to read 9 pages, i said i would read it tonight in my last post, i will do so tonight. See grant you think i am on assads side or russias side or chinas but i am on the side that worries about al nusra coming to power and lack of planning for a post assad syria, lebanon and israel. If there is proof he was responsible then they cannot just bomb a regime change like libya. They need a post assad plan. Great assad is gone, victory for everyone except lebanon israel, jordan, turkey, iran and more than likely russia. The plan has to include removal of both assad and al nusra or all hell is going to break lose. This isn't iraq or libya.

I will read the report tonight in the mean time grant, give me your post assad bomb regime change proposal. I could care less if assad runs the country or some other idiot, my concern lies with al nusra, chemical weapon stockpiles and lack of a post assad plan. As soon as i am back from dinner i shall read the french report.
