Agree about the pain. It's really not bad, mildly irritating. Ok I had mine on a place where it's apparently not sore.
Actually the few days after was the worst, where it feels like a bad sunburn.

@EMAM - what's an 'O'? Is that like a 'SO', but he's insignificant?

I started laughing myself, Why continue taking activities which are irritating your body
 
just recently got on on my ribs and wasnt sore at all. All the doom ppl who say ribs are the worst...whatever shurrup. Not one of mine has ever really hurt. Some of mine were done by an ex gf so basically I was just trying to control a boner pretty much the whole time.

I've stopped reading kak online because everyone is different. Everyone has different perceptions in different places
The online guides said it would hurt on my inner arm... it didn't hurt.
The online guides said my forearm is least sensitive.... it was quite painful.

one of the more sensitive spots I found was on wrist like the area youde wear a watch

I've done 3 on the wrist area and I didn't find them to be sore.

My worst was on my back, especially the closer it got to my spine and underarm - I think the size also makes a different. A quick one hour tattoo won't hurt as much as a 3 hour tattoo.

shin was maybe one like that , not sore but could feel it on the bone. My back piece was a breeze, got a bulls horn going close to under arm as well and also not bad.

I think differs from person to person.
