Same thing happened to me a few years ago, although I was lucky and never had a debit order set up, they just sent the invoice and when I queried it, I never heard back from them, ever.

thats fraudulent!! there are call centers in durban doing this sort of thing.... debiting clients without their consent... if you dont get contacted soon either visit hellopeter or small claims court. You will then see people jumping
 
My brother in law got recomended OW yesterday, signed up last night, against my advice...

Calls me today, told me its ****ing horrible and he's cancelling :D

This is exactly what i am thinking. If Openweb are doing all this bad stuff, why is Openweb even advertising allowed here??? Come on MyBB, surely you need to do something about this? I really have a problem with magazines, forums etc, that are normally industry representatives that do nothing to filter companies that are evidently out to scam.

Yeah, MyBB unfortunately does not care about it's image, preferring to defend Shadyweb instead of ousting them from the forum.

But because MyBB promotes it (and even plugs it on Facebook!), Shadyweb still gets business.

What I struggle to understand is how you go from being one of the more successful ISPs to utter shyte and not give a damn about fixing what went wrong?
 
it's always amusing how you can't comment on the openweb adds on the front page.

Stop selling your soul to the devil MyBB.
 
I have been with openweb for years and they have done nothing to keep me there .. as the price of the internet gets cheaper they do not pass the savings onto their old customers

also in the past few months the surfing has been terrible.. too much shaping and throttling..

after 3 years im moving
