The truth about Openweb

How in the world are they still in business!

Billing people after they cancel, MyBB adds, people being fools and thinking their internet experience is normal when it clearly is below par.
They're like CTI, awesome advertising scheme to get you hooked, crappy course/worthless degree at the end.

Crazy, and goes to show how easily people are being dragged into it

Whats sad is MyBB is advocates of OpenWeb they openly support and recommend them.

They mybb single handedly scammed innocent people into it.

Everyone average joe on the street trusted mybb and they fcked joe and Jane average over

Nice find.
I'm definitely upgrading to the 75gig home unshaped for only R148 a month :D

Cavedog has reported good experience with their capped accounts (I have no experience, apart from the free 20GB's I got which performed awesomely).

Alas, I couldn't give a damn by the amount I got burned with their 4mb "gold" uncapped @ almost R800 back in the day.

What a load of crock shyte that was.

Hi, I have been me trying to cancel my openweb account now for over 2 months now, in the end I had to stop my credit card and get a new one, seems to be the only way to get these scammers off my back.

"Par for the course"

I positively despise openweb. Was with them for 8 years. They held me hostage when I terminated my account, for 3 months. Forced 2+ grand out of me while I had no use for the service. I will rather die a sugar-syrup-covered ANT COLONY DEATH than ever use OPENWEB again. Moved to crystal, never been so happy with my service.

Can someone please clarify what is the nature of the relationship of Openweb with Mybroadband?

I don't equate the values of the 2 together, granted many service providers have hiccups and issues but by all reports Openweb just continously plumbs the depths of unethical behaviour, seemingly with impunity. The way I understand it Mybroadband should be reviling/exposing their kind of behaviour not helping sweep it under the rug and luring new/unsuspecting customers into their grasp.

And is Mybroadband a bonafida journalistic publication or just a glorified churnalism slash advertorial affiliate blog?
