Volkswagen Caddy trims and standard features detailed for South Africa
The
Volkswagen Caddy has been confirmed for an introduction
into South Africa for this November. We now have a break-down of what trim levels and standard features will be offered to our market when it arrives.
Where body styles are concerned, the Volkswagen Caddy range will kick-off with the short wheelbase model that provides seating for five passengers with the option of a third-row bench. The long wheelbase Caddy Max boasts this bench as standard. These two derivatives cater to customers who wish to use the MPV as a personal car.
The new Volkswagen Caddy will come standard with LED headlamps and taillamps, painted body colour bumpers and black roof rails. Optional features for the exterior consist of a panoramic sunroof, a removable tow bar and 16-inch Wein alloy wheels. 12 exterior colours, of which five are completely new to the model, will be selectable.
Those looking for daily commuting services can opt for the Volkswagen Caddy Kombi and Maxi Kombi. This derivative can be converted to suit various personal and business needs such as carrying people with disabilities, mobile offices, K9 units and hearses. Both of these models feature easily removable folding seats and easy-access sliding rear passenger doors.
As standard on the Volkswagen Caddy Kombi range is a set of black coated bumpers, steel wheels, H7 halogen headlamps and an electronic parking brake. Optional features include a rear view camera, LED headlamps, App-Connect, a multifunction steering wheel, 16-inch Wien alloy wheels, a tow bar that can be fixed or removable, rear wing doors, front fog lamps with cornering lights and cruise control.
Pricing will be available closer to the launch date in November.
