The VW Up! Thread

Yeah they should use more glass. That gives more surface for the Soundaktor to make the engine sound V8-ish and they can claim to be more "transparent". Should come in handy after all the cheating as of late. Smart move/

Actually probably a better idea and brings cost down. These built in infotainment systems can be a pain to upgrade. Especially the maps for the navigation, or if you happen to buy a model which a few months later gets a complete overall and yours is now obsolete you can't add the new one for cheaper.
I say bring back old fashion fascias where we can put our own infotainment systems in, which aren't tied to the car in anyway besides steering controls.
Back on topic this looks like a typical VW face lift the lights are slightly different but it's still an Up!
 
Yeah thing is we all have smartphones.

I would rather spend more on my phone then knowing it works with my car properly than spend the money on a ****ty car specific system.

For that matter when I upgrade my old phone can stay attached to the car, much like I have done now.
 
Now that is one CAR VAG recommendation I can agree with.

Shame on VWSA for not bringing it sooner.

That was funny, but even more priceless is the look on VW CEO face in the new clip about the Astra K winning Euro COTY.
 
There is a 5 door Up! and despite people claiming that VWSA is bringing it to our shores I very much doubt that.
