It wasnt a great episode again imo. Ive become very critical of The Walking Dead writers of late, because now its pretty close to mid season finale.. This season, apart from episode 1, hasnt gripped me yet. It really needs a change or else it will just cheese off many more viewers

Yip agree. I lost interest at Ep3, and I've been monitoring the episodes since so I can binge watch until something good happens. I thought maybe I'd have to wait 2 episodes, but doesn't seem to be the case. A bit worrying really.

Im a massive fan of TWD, but this is the 1st season ive been massively disappointed in. Season 2 wasnt great, but this is another level now.

I actually quite enjoyed the episode, showed a different side of things and great character development for Tara. I don't like her character at all but the actress did a good job and the story was pretty good.

We'll be back to Rick and the group next week where I'm sure they'll meet Carol and co.

Because for some reason they insist on dedicating entire episodes to a single set of characters instead of cycling through them. Makes for very slow and boring TV. They've opened up storylines all over the place but haven't progressed with any of them.

Carol, Ezekiel & Morgan over here.
Coral and Jesus over there.
Maggie and Sasha onna hilltop.
Darryl at Saviours HQ.
Broken Rick and Alexandria.
Now this Womanchester settlement.

Seriously wtf. Pacing is way off this season.

Still, glad my man Dre got some screen time.

Watching Walking Dead is like playing golf.... it's a nice stroll in nature spoiled by a little white ball... it really is no fun, but then, there is that 1 shot... that 1 moment of brilliance that, like magic, brings you back for the next 18.

I think a good idea is to watch the first just the 5 and last 5 minutes and then read the plot on wiki to see if the rest is worth a visit.

That way you don't blow 50m of your Monday eve's.

Episode was unnecessary...no-one's interested in these characters.

Bigger problem - struggling to see how the eventual retribution wrought on Negan can repay what he's done already - Abraham, Glenn, breaking Darryl and Rick.
