The Walking Dead [SPOILERS]

Stand to be corrected but it's full length movies afaik.

Interesting. Bit of a departure for them. Might be better if it's well done. No drawn out tedium like the TWD series has suffered recently. Let's see.

906. Some adjustment needed after the 6 year time jump. So incredibly weird not too see Rick in an episode. It will take some time getting used to.

Lots of characters changes & developments. Interesting ending definitely has potential for future episodes.

907. Hilltop is finally showed after the lengthy time jump. Maggie references lots but you can see they left the door open in case she returns to the show. Each camp is run according to his own way.

Next week is the mid season finale.

I stopped halfway through last season, only started now because I heard Rick died.
My God this is a brand new show after his death? Loving the new cinematography and the vibe of each episode is better.Well done to them because I had written this show off a while back.

Yeah that seems to be the general consensus from those of us that have stuck around for Season 9.

Different showrunner, better show, IMO.

That Judith kid . . . did they really have to add an annoying kid?

Carol . . . still bad ass after all these years.

This season is definitely better than the past 2 seasons, but it definitely doesn't feel like The Walking Dead without Rick. Its just weird now, at least for me it is.

I am starting to enjoy this season. No more drawn out scenes and filler episodes. I hope they keep this up.

908. Finally got around to watching the mid-season finale.

It was a goodie! The walkers, the Negan story, the Henry story, the scouting for Eugene story. It was pretty well done & makes for a solid mid-season break.

Shame, RIP Jesus. Character had potential but was underutilized in the show.

Looking forward to S9 Part 2 due around February 2019.

Shame, RIP Jesus. Character had potential but was underutilized in the show.

Apparently, the actor (Tom Payne) had made it clear he was getting frustrated with the lack of variety/action and screen time to do with his role. He was not displeased to be told the Jesus character would end for the TV show.
