I have to agree. It was a good episode. The writers and directors really up'ed the tempo and I hope they keep it up throughout the season.

Carol is badass!!! Lol :D
 
Anybody else thought the first 10 minutes had a different look and feel to it than the rest of walking dead? I absolutely loved the first 10 minutes.

No it wasn't a flashback. Rick, Carl and Michone were doing a run to the town where they used to live and he was holding up in one of the apartments. He lost it a bit because of the death of his son. Rick wanted him to come with them back to the prison but he didn't.

The only part i didn't like about episode 1 was carol shooting at that gas cylinder thing. It takes her 3 shots with a scope to hit it, but then use a firecracker which is uncontrollable to blow it up... WTF :wtf: is up with that?

Have you not played GTA5 Online? pretty much the same thing
 
So, question . . .

The first part of the episode . . . NOW . . . I get that.

The second part . . . THEN . . . in the container/train carriage, that woman was the same one that Carol shot in the leg right. So they were taken over by another group of people? And these people were harvesting humans for food?

Remember when Carol had her at gun point, she said she was just like them when they got there. They were also locked in the train car. And also harvested like they were harvesting. They just took over. I think the THEN part is trying to make us think about what happened to the original harvesters? The group will probably meet them during the course of this season.
 
Lol, you guys all confused about such simple details.
Good episode though.

I have changed my tune about Rick being a pussy, man has certainly changed for the better.
Regarding Carol and her Rambo'esk shooting of the gas cylinder, rather far fetched but in the larger scheme of things this is a Zombie survival series so I guess her actions weren't that far fetched.
