The Walking Dead [SPOILERS]

Ya awesome first episode. I hope they carry on the intensity throughout the season

Think season 4 was a really great season. Learning about their characters, being seperated and the will to wanting to meet up again. It setup the S4 finale perfectly, and setup the S5 opening perfectly as well. Many would not havr enjoyed S4, due to the slower nature of the previous 3 seasons, but it was great imo.

Like I said, perhaps not for everyone the dialogue. Personally found it very refreshing, as it gave each group.something to fight for and hold onto that hope that they will all reunite or die trying.
 
I basically skipped season 4... only watched a few minutes here and there.
Doesn't seem like I missed much.
But this episode was quite good.
I hope the series starts going somewhere now...

They definitely stepped up the gore... the SO and I thought it was really good. Cant wait to check out ep 2 next week.
 
What a start!

GF is joining me from season 5 onwards..... finally got her on board after this epic episode.
 
You really have to watch this from season 1 ep 1, to understand what is happening. There are so many different characters, how they meet, their roles etc. Even if you didnt like season 4, you have to watch it to understand what they have gone through and so on.

Yes, well I think they were trying to create a different atmosphere. They did it very well.

You sort of think its going to end for the current lot... and the new lot are going to be the current lot.

Well the episode returned the normal "look and feel" after the intro... but would definitely not have minded if they carried that style through the rest of the series.
 
Up until that dude with the baseball bat was gonna wack Glen, I was sure he was going to written out of the show.
