The number of people recovering seems to be exceeding the number of new infections for quite a few days now.

Yes but keep in mind a global recession is when global GDP growth drops below 2.5%

2ndly last prolific flu to hit globe was Spanish influenza and then the 2nd winter (northern) is when it really hit them. The virus also appeared in the winter(north).. went south in summer and then returned mutated.

While we don’t have a world war environment, we do however have immunodeficient victims (hiv/aids) as well TB and other drug resistant viruses lurking including in Cpt. We will likely only know how bad it will be in June/July to see if it is still around and if it mutated.

No pretence at holding the 20 psychological barrier any more.

Spiked at almost 17 to the dollar this morning now it's at 16.29 highest it's been in a very very long time.

I think there was some panic selling or something as it's slowly going down again. But man it almost 17 to the dollar and 19 to the euro and 22.2 on the pound.

CV19, Oil price war, ANC, Eskom,SAA....stands to reason, nothing is untouchable. even Donald's Greenback

I'm actually surprised it's taken so long...

Time for the FED to put the printing machines in overtime!
Love the US approach of "We are rich because we say so." worked well so far. Rand is going to finally wipe out, though. R20+ by xmas. I'm sure the people in parliament will be shocked.

Damn these dollars. Feels like should buy some and hold on to it. By year end will be through the roof.
