At least petrol is coming down next month, $45 the last I checked, that's about a $15 drop. Though doesn't affect me much....

And going up by 25c the next month. Funny how these big drops in the oil price doesn't make much of a dent in the price we pay.

Haha, ok nevermind then, don't pay much attention to the price but saw the decrease on eNCA.

Corona virus

The Johannesburg Stock Exchange all-share index has plunged another 2,000 points since Friday morning's opening as coronavirus fears send global markets on a deep slide.

World stock markets are heading for the worst week since the depths of the 2008 financial crisis.
Locally, the rand is down by about 20 cents from Friday's close as emerging market currencies are hit by fears around the virus.

Just about everything (not manufactured locally ) is going to be hit as well, except exports.

Mobile phones, TV's, majority of Tech goods, holidays, cost of diesel+petrol and knock on effects, you name it.....

Would have been even worse - GBP has lost over 4% to EUR over the past 2 weeks.
