The Zimbabwe Elections 2023 thread

That's not suspicious as all...

Nothing suspicious at all:
Civil society groups have tried to do their own vote count to compare results with the official tally in light of disputes over past election results.

The 41 are being accused of attempting to announce results before the state elections body - who by law are the only ones who can declare a winner.

If your party loses all the time it doesn't mean the election is rigged, it just means your party is extremely incompetent.

That, or you're outnumbered 10:1 by dumbasses born to suffer.

Not to say I believe our elections are rigged. They would be - if they needed them to be. But they don't - so they probably aren't.

The latest results thus far:

Results announced so far by the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission showed ZANU-PF winning 43 parliamentary constituencies and the main opposition party Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) winning 37, out of a total of 210 single-member constituencies.
