Yes, from the parliamentary vote (rather than presidential):

By Friday, the Zimbabwe Election Commission has announced the results of 160 out of 210 constituencies, with the ruling ZANU-PF winning 101, retaining its rural base, and the opposition Citizens Coalition for Change winning 59, capturing the urban vote.

What is happening in Zimbabwe is pretty sad, but expected. Don't think Zim will ever see a free and fair election unless the Zanu-PF and the military are overthrown. The results of this election will be a joke, like the many previous elections.

A rather silly tweet in my opinion; everybody knows that the Zimbabwe electoral system is a farce.
 
How's the state capture *ahem* I mean the eleshuns coming along? Any opponents murdered or imprisoned, boxes of dumped marked ballots papers discovered, confiscated passports, bussed in foreign supporters or passports of dead people surfaced yet? You the, just the usual run of the mill pariah state stuff.
 
If the Zimbabweans who manicure South African gardens had gone home to vote; perhaps the opposition would have stood a chance. But they simply don’t care, or don’t love their country. Content with being gardens boys and kitchen girls to the South Africa’s elite.

I hear you, but Im guessing the cost of travel and no work no pay is strong deterrent, not to mention the state of the border posts. Also traveling back to Zim if you are illegally in SA is a risk.

I can also understand why someone wouldnt bother to spend the time and effort to vote in an election given their history of dodgy elections.

Emmerson Mnangagwa: 'The Crocodile' wins second term as Zimbabwe president

Mnangagwa came to power in Zimbabwe after a 2017 coup which ousted long-time ruler Robert Mugabe.

The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) said Mr Mnangagwa's main challenger, Citizens' Coalition for Change (CCC) candidate Nelson Chamisa, secured 44% of the vote.

Mr Mnangagwa received more than 2.3m votes, while Mr Chamisa took 1.9m, according to the ZEC. Voter turnout in the country of almost 16m was 69%, the electoral body said.

The opposition claims the vote was rigged, but the constitutional court has upheld the result.

The party was also declared the winner in the parliamentary race, securing 136 of 210 seats, with the CCC taking 73.

The history of the elections also shows that Zims here have never been bothered enough to go and vote, not like they started okay and then lost hope.

Talking about Zims going home, how exactly do the illegals get home, surely the days of the crocodile on the Limpopo river are long gone? Because come Christmas time no one has any issues with the border, everyone gets home just fine.
 
Speaking on people going home, no one has ever been arrested for going back to their home country in South Africa whether you are staying legally or illegally, true you face a ban if they see your passport has overstayed but people travel back home without a problem. Most people are not bothering with voting. Sad.

That's very good, you have more credibility that the indifferent ones.

Since you are Zimbabwean I take you will have even more credibility to answer this, is there any evidence on the ground that shows that CCC has way more support than Zanu?
 
Attended Uni with Zimbabweans at Rhodes. Most of them don't really speak about politics but after putting two and two together, I realized many were connected to Zanu PF in some way and most were from well-off homes.
