thanks! by the way, I found this article interesting. The author seemed to be disappointed at CCC’s performance, therefore losing confidence on supporting Chamisa. What’s your opinion on this? What reforms are people expecting from CCC?

However, after 23 years on the political stage, the party has not only failed to deliver even one democratic change but, worst of all, its leaders are the ones now helping Zanu PF stay in power for 30 pieces of silver! Many Zimbabweans are slowly but surely waking up to the reality that Nelson Chamisa and his CCC friends have given up on implement democratic reforms to ensure free, fair and credible elections and their promise to win rigged elections is an oxymoron.

Opposition leader Nelson Chamisa and his Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) party would win next month’s Zimbabwean elections by a margin of between 8% and 9% – if the elections are free and fair – a new poll suggests.


The poll of 2,000 registered voters, conducted by Elite Africa Research in June, found that if the elections were held then, 47.6% of respondents would vote for Chamisa in the presidential poll, while 38.7% would vote for President Emmerson Mnangagwa.



Similarly, the poll found that 47.7 % of respondents would vote for Chamisa’s CCC while 39.6% would vote for Mnangagwa’s ruling Zanu-PF party in the parliamentary elections.

Anecdote: I worked with a guy from Zimbabwe. Whenever there were elections he remained a die-hard Zanu-PF supporter because ''Mugabe liberated us''. He was in South Africa because he couldn't get a job back home after their economic collapse, but he continued to support the Zanu-PF.

It's the same sort of thing we see here, where people feel obligated to vote for the ANC because of the past.

Should send them ALL back to their own shathole to go fix. But ANC loves Zanu-PF, keeps extending the Zimbabweans permits here after elections now. Think it's the 3rd time they have extended this now...
 
Like in many countries the President is just a "puppet" for the people with the money that really runs the country.

Former Minister under Mugabe.
Kasukuwere fled Zimbabwe with Professor Jonathan Moyo, when tanks rolled into Harare, after surviving a gunfire attack at his bulletproof house.

Before they fled the country, they were hidden at Mugabe's Blue Roof Mansion.

Kasukuwere and Moyo were the leading lights in a faction that was referred to as Generation 40 (G40), which backed Mugabe and drew its support base from young Turks in the party. They were bent on blocking Mnangagwa's rise to power.

You have to be able to tell apart two check boxes and write an X to be able to vote so that rules out the EFF supporters.
 
It mustn’t be nice seeing your fellow citizens get moered by police daily just for breathing, but you don’t do anything about it even though you have the power to do so.

My Zimbabwe neighbours , don’t fail us like this.
