Oh, sorry, didn't see you were trying to be an ******* there, I thought you were trying to actually make some kind of point. Should have suspected as much when you quoted me instead of the guy whose original post I was addressing. Smartphones have always been about getting as much functionality and power into as small a device as possible, that's WHY. If you could stop acting like a retard with split personality disorder (apologies if you actually are mentally challenged and/or have a disorder), you'd see that we're not talking about having exactly the same stuff/interface on a phone as a computer, but rather the same power and utility that you get on a computer. Things like those mentioned in post #18.
And no, there aren't any of your "trade-offs" in Android, just as there weren't in Symbian or the old Windows Mobile. You could/can do pretty much what the hardware would/will allow you. They didn't "streamline" the crap out of everything and turn your expensive phone into a Fischer-Price toy like Apple (and now MS) does.
Bipolar much?
So tell me what is it that you cant do with your current phone. #18 - Lol really ? You want your "PHONE" to control your camera and PS3? Um okay. Cool. Lol. I thought those devices came with their own peripherals. But hey whatever makes you feel happy. You're right i cant control my fridge or toaster with my phone, jesus i wish they would start allowing my PHONE to control my car aswell.
Edit: Anyways enjoy your evening about raging how smartphones cant control the lunar lander.
